Delivering to the Lazy

We all know cooking at home is not an easy task, and that can be very problematic when you are very “hangry”. That is why we resort to ordering delivery, however it is very hard to choose what will your meal be. So that’s when we come in with all the pro tips to decide which food fits better your taste, budget and occasion. ’cause believe us, we’ve gone through all of that.

Roasted Chicken

This option is one of the most reliable ones in Peru, since there exists a very wide variety of restaurants that offer delivery service for this meal. You can choose from restaurants like Pardo´s chicken, Primos, Villa Chicken, Don Belisario, La Panka, etc.

Also, ordering this food can be done having a low budget, since these restaurants often create different combos depending on how many people will consume and their preferences.

Besides, roasted chicken normally comes with delicious sides, such as french fries, sweet potato fries, salads, fried yams, etc.

But most importantly, this dish has Peruvian tradition written all over it, and is commonly enjoyed by big families in reunions or birthdays (normally grandparents’).

Pizza

This is one of the most practical options, since you don’t need to use utensils to eat it, the only thing you need is your bare hands (that you are probably gonna lick later).

Another perk, is that many people can eat from one pizza, so you save money. In fact, there are many sizes of pizza you can choose from, not to mention the variety of flavors….which means there will always be a personalized pizza just for you.

Since it’s a well known meal, you can find many restaurants that deliver it, such as Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, Domino’s Pizza, Little Ceaser’s, etc. Lastly, pizza is a go to party meal (because everybody likes it!) and can be ordered at any time of the day.

Sushi

This one is for the most sophisticated eaters that are willing to try exotic foods. All the way from Japan, sushi has become really common in the Peruvian capital and has gone through a fusion with the “red and white” cuisine.

Even though you have to use pretty complicated chopsticks to eat it, we can see sushi in very formal events, like weddings, grand openings, executive reunions, etc.

However, it is very simple to order it to your house (through delivering apps like Glovo and Rappi) and to enjoy it with your friends. But remember, it requires a higher budget!

Finally, it’s important to mention that you can also meet an extensive variety of flavor options and sauces to compliment its delightful flavor.

  1. very good article, dear friends, like you, I consider that the delivery services offered by different companies are very helpful nowadays. In many occasions we do not have time to cook, or it is difficult for us to go out and buy something to eat, so this is the most effective reason to buy food. However, although they can be of great help, there are also risks of ordering food by delivery, since you do not know the person who is coming to your home and you do not know if the delivery person is really what he claims to be. However, it is a manageable risk but we must always be alert to any strange behavior on the part of the delivery services to whom we entrust our management.
